Since 2013, EURODOC has been supporting producers located in different French regions, and more recently to other countries,  in order to enhance their skills, give them access to new funding possibilities (coproduction, pre-buying and subsidies) and consolidate production company activities by helping companies gain access to markets in France and aboard.

2024 RE-ACT WORKSHOP in Udine (Italy)

Designed in collaboration with EURODOC, the workshop is dedicated to producers from Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia and Friuli-Venezia-Giulia (Italy) with a documentary project at any stage of development. A 5-day-long event combining group work, masterclasses, case studies and one-to-one consultations open to 12 producers who want to raise the international potential of their project and explore coproduction opportunities while also working on their skills as creative producers.
In line with the latest trends in documentary production, the workshop will delve into aspects such as crafting a compelling author's perspective, developing a unique visual approach to unlock the story's potential and elevating production value by integrating post-production considerations from the very beginning.

2023 NEW DOCUMENTARY FORMATS WORKSHOP in Weimar (Germany)

Workshop in partnership with CFI Media Development, in parallel with our annual program, for Ukrainian producers and broadcasters. The workshop was specifically devoted to New Documentary formats, from different perspectives: writing and filmmaking, production, international coproduction, broadcasting (linear and non-linear). The program mixed beginners’ approach to new media, transmedia, web documentary and platforms (TikTok, Snapchat, Instagram, and Netflix, TV platforms…), to more advanced contents through meetings with broadcasters, seasoned filmmakers, and masterclasses. 

2022 & 2023 WRITING RESIDENCY at Saint-Riquier Abbey (France)

In partnership with the Amiens International Film Festival and the Centre Culturel de l'Abbaye de Saint-Riquier, with the support of the Somme département. The workshop is aimed at filmmakers working on their first or second feature-length film, whether in writing or in development. The week is punctuated by periods of solo writing and group work, supervised by filmmaker Dominique Choisy and by meetings on the "market interface" with a producer (Eugénie Michel-Villette) and a pitch and script consultant (Licia Eminenti).

2022 FIDADOC WORKSHOP in Agadir (Morocco)

Workshop in partnership with FIDADOC and the French Institute in Morocco. The course highlighted the wealth of subjects and the presence of many skilled talents and technicians in Morocco, but also the major constraints under which documentary projects are developed and produced. Five professionals were brought together to discuss their documentary projects in development under the tutorship of Palmyre A. Badinier (Rota Productions, Switzerland). The workshop also involved several speakers, including Asmae El Moudir (director-producer, Insight Films, Morocco, EURODOC18) and Heidi Fleisher (consultant and producer, USA/France), with a masterclass on international financing for MENA productions.

2022 TRAINING FOR LOCAL TVs in Nantes (France)

Workshop on-demand on the intersection of web, platform and TV documentary series, designed for commissioning editors of TV channels based in Centre-Val de Loire, Bretagne and Pays de la Loire Regions. co organized with CICLIC.

2021 TRAINING IN NEW DOCUMENTARY WRITINGS in Région Centre-Val de Loire (France)

A workshop was designed exclusively for authors, directors, producers, commissioning editors of channels or platforms based in Centre-Val de Loire, Bretagne and Pays de la Loire Regions.

2021 EURODOC "A l'atelier" with 56th SOLOTHURNER FILMTAGE (Switzerland)

In partnership with the 56th Solothurner Filmtage, within "A l'Atelier" section, EURODOC offered to 10–12 Swiss documentary film producers with a project in developement, a dedicated training program.
